About The Book:

Fearless is a young adult fantasy novel written by the American author Lauren Roberts. It is the last part in the Powerless Trilogy, Powerful being the first spin-off and Fearful the second novella. The storyline of Fearless follows Paedyn Gray and Kai Azer as they return to the Kingdom of Ilya, and Paedyn is given a life-altering choice because with Kitt’s proposal, she now has the chance to become the queen of Ilya. The book contains genres such as magic, rebellion, political tension, dark fantasy, character development, betrayal and love triangle.

Synopsis:

Fearless if from Paedyn, Kai and Kitt’s perspective. After killing the king, Paedyn Gray has become a symbol of rebellion, hunted and with bounties hanging over her head. After being hunted by Kai Azer, Ilya’s enforcer, she is brought to justice in front of the new king, Kitt Azer. The last thing Paedyn expected was to be proposed to by the king.

Now with her role as queen, Paedyn has the power to unite Ilya and create a kingdom where Ordinaries live alongside Elites without fear. The fate of the kingdom lies in Paedyn’s hand. Driven by the conflict between love and the duty to fight for freedom, Paedyn must choose a path and make sacrifices.

Meanwhile, Kai struggles with the conflict between his feelings for Paedyn and her arranged marriage to his brother. Will Kai keep defying his king? Just how long will he keep his feelings and his relationship with Paedyn a secret? And will he be strong enough to let go of her once and for all?

My Personal Review:

This part was the best and my favorite one from the whole series. It was a 10/10 read. Not a single slow moment of boredom. It was a thick book, but I finished it pretty quickly. I stayed up nights to read it, and I went insane.

The plot twists at the end like OMG?! My poor baby Kitt though... I will always miss him so much. It was so tragic and sad, especially the epilogue chapter. Mak made me really sad too. Honestly, all I want to do is cry, I don’t know what to do with my life after finishing this series.

Powerless was more of a comfort series with a rollercoaster of emotions. It was so depressing and tragic. I’m glad Kai and Paedyn got their happy ending, but I am really sad for the characters that died in the series.

I miss Kai and Paedyn so much. Blair’s scenes were so satisfying, gosh that bitch deserved it all. Lenny, Mak, Adena, Kitt, Paedyn and Kai were my favorite characters. The cover of the book made sense after finishing, and these small details make me so happy! The dedication in each part was really good too.

Fearless was the finale, and with Fearless, the series comes to an end. I enjoyed it a lot, and overall, this series was a five-star from me. I loved this series a lot! If you’re a fan of strong female leads, dark fantasy, fight for power, rebellion and character development with love banters and tension, then this series is perfect for you!
